EPA approves E15 Gas to be used at the pump

  • May 1
  • 1 min read

Starting May 1st E15 gas (also known as Unleaded 88) will be sold at gas stations across the U.S. The environmental protection agency claims this is an effort to provide “relief at the pump”. But some are drawing speculation.

E15 gas reduces fuel economy & is only compatible with cars manufactured in 2001 or later. Therefore it is not recommended for boats, motorcycles, and other forms of transportation.

Furthermore we will see the true effects starting May 1st in regards to whether E15 gas actually provides consumers with relief at the pump or if this is another attempt at providing false hopes to people whose pockets are already over burdened by this economy.
